Job Description

Were Hiring a Junior High Guide:Beginning August 2025 Compass Montessori Junior High in Traverse City MI is hiring a fulltime adolescent guide for 7th and 8th grade. Our newly remodeled campus is situated in the heart of downtown along the lakeshore of Grand Traverse Bay. Compass is part of The Childrens House Independent Montessori School established in 1984 with 260 students from Nido through 8th grade. Preferred applicants will have teaching experience with adolescents specializing in history algebra and science. They should enjoy designing and implementing interdisciplinary workshopbased and experiential learning opportunities in a small collaborative school community.Compass Montessori JH offers a generous benefits package and excellent opportunities for professional development including sponsoring qualified candidates to earn their AMI Adolescent Diploma.
