Job Description

Youll join an experienced team of engineers with direct experience building and scaling teams through massive growth at companies like Slack Meta and Samsara. On the back of this experience and our success to date weve raised over $32M from leading investors including Greylock and Battery Ventures. Your responsibilities
Ensure the stability security scalability and performance of Opal Securitys platform
Take ownership of critical components of Opal Securitys Infrastructure
Empower product engineers with the tools and systems they need
Work closely with leadership our product team and other engineers in roadmap architecture and product discussions
Create and improve engineering best practices and processes
Interact directly with customers on product feedback and issues
Our ideal candidate
Familiarity with our tech stack: Kubernetes Golang Postgres Redis Terraform GraphQL TypeScript and React
Experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS / GCP) and scaling cloud infrastructure
Has 4 years experience as a fulltime software engineer or equivalent experience building large distributed systems
Thrives in ambiguous environments with significant ownership and with the opportunity to make decisions that have a huge impact on the business
