Candidate will be responsible for coordinating z/OS z/VM and Linux of Z operating systems. They will be Responsible for evaluating planning installing and maintaining the z/OS Operating system and related software products. They are working with IBM and other Independent Software Vendors on a regular basis to implement solutions as well as working with Broadcom BMC Rocket They will be held to developing operational standards and design and implementation of various mainframe tech solutions. Some other responsibilities will include:
- Support and Lead maintenance activities releases and major OS upgrades
- Assist in evaluating and selecting major software and hardware subsystems for operational efficiency and to reduce operating costs
- Lead software upgrades and maintenance activities
- Assist in WLM tuning and Monoplex support
- Interact with other Mainframe SMEs/resources during US hours
Required Skills & Experience
- HS disploma or equivalent with relevant mainframe experience
- Experience administering z/OS z/VM and Linux of Z operating systems
- z/OSMF
- Experience with evaluating planning installing and maintaining z/OS operating system

- CICS
- TCP and VTAM
