Job Summary:
The Grants and Contracts Manager is a fulltime position responsible for oversight of administrative functions that support the research and education missions of the BDC. This role will provide high quality creative and solutionsoriented administration for the Basic Research Division and Clinical Epidemiology Division of the BDC. This position is responsible for establishing appropriate controls for managing the finances of sponsored projects large educational programs and gift funds of the BDC. The position will develop standardized processes provide oversight training and leadership to a team of 34 research administrators. This position works independently as well as collaboratively with faculty staff the Anschutz Medical Campus Office of Grants and Contracts Finance and the CU Foundation. This position will be faced with multiple priorities as well as difficult situations and will be required to be flexible adaptive and able to articulate thoughts and explanations to those with varying levels of understanding in finance and budgeting.

Founded by Marvin and Barbara Davis in 1978 it is currently one of the largest diabetes institutes in the world. Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range or hiring range for this position has been established as $70692 $89921.
The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
