About The Role
As a Senior Marketing Manager at Ethos you will own and be accountable for performance budget and tools for SEO as well as general blog content. Ethos is destined for big things and we are betting that you will take the initiative and contribute to our success! As Ethos is a fastgrowing startup you will work closely with colleagues across multiple teams and senior management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy and tracking of SEO across Google Bing and AI platforms to drive marketing performance in line with budget and goals
- Includes all site content as well as backlinks
- Track performance on a weekly and monthly basis and make adjustments to improve target KPIs
- Partner with internal teams (e.g. Creative Analytics Growth Product Engineering) to effectively drive all aspects of SEO and content
- Manage client partner relationships
- Run analyses on channel performance and implement findings quickly
- Demonstrate thought leadership by developing and implementing strategies and sharing the results with leadership
- Function as the expert across SEO and stay up to date on industry/competitive trends and technologies and best practices
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven track record of success inhouse at a high growth direct response B2C startup. Fintech or Insuretech preferred.
- A deep knowledge of the SEO landscape
- Ability to work autonomously learn quickly prioritize effectively and deliver results in a fastpaced environment (ideally experienced in startup companies).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience of marketing experience with 3 years managing SEO at a high growth company where user acquisition was critical to the companys growth
- Excited by the chance to both develop a marketing strategy and hands on optimization
- Experience working directly with engineering and product teams to implement SEO recommendations
