ThePerioperative Quality Leader under the direction of thePerioperative Director worksclosely with health services and physician leadership the position is to provide leadership and coordination in the planning development implementation and evaluation of Perioperative quality and patient safety initiatives. This includes using data and analytics to monitor trends and identify opportunities for quality improvements; assist with review of patient safety data as required; operationalize implementation of the strategic directions of the provincial Perioperative/ Surgical Services Network. The position provides leadership for ensuring accreditation and CSA standards are met or exceeded. The role will enable development of tracking mechanisms for quality improvement and will work in collaboration with the Perioperative Leadership Team as required
