Job Description
You will act as the Salesforce Tech Lead within the Retirement Strategy Institutional Technology team partnering closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive next-generation customer service systems. Responsibilities include leading application design and configuration delivering clean and scalable code aligned with Salesforce and cloud-native best practices and ensuring integration with the broader Prudential ecosystem. The position requires strong business acumen agile ways of working inclusive leadership and deep technical experience in Salesforce (Apex LWC Service Cloud) cloud technologies (AWS) DevOps tools (Copado GitHub) and integration patterns. This is a high-impact role requiring advanced problem-solving stakeholder communication and mentoring capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and develop Salesforce applications using modern design patterns and architectural principles.
- Deliver high-quality code adhering to Prudential standards.
- Design business logic and integrations with Prudentials technology ecosystem.
- Write unit and integration tests and address bugs identified during QA.
- Coach team members and drive continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with product engineering and QA teams in Agile settings.
- Lead problem analysis involving intangible variables and complex architecture.
- Stay updated on platform roadmaps and security patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8 years of Salesforce experience including Lightning Apex Flows and integrations
- Experience managing teams setting goals and performance management
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud configuration and administration
- Hands-on with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado GitHub Jenkins
- Strong grasp of Apex JavaScript REST APIs Platform Events Batch and Async Apex
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with AWS (EC2 S3 Kinesis IAM etc.)
- Advanced understanding of security protocols including OAuth SAML SSL
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and architectural design patterns
- Experience with Vlocity / Omnistudio is a plus
- Salesforce and AWS certifications mandatory
- Financial/Insurance domain experience mandatory
- Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Strong Agile methodology and Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience
