Job Description

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Purpose and Scope:
This position is accountable to develop both new and existing suppliers as well it also requires constant attention to inventory management assists in developing and maintaining the writing and distribution of Metallus yearly RFQs will write yearly and monthly Purchase Orders as needed to ensure required raw material needs are met understands and reviews global pricing trends of the of S Metal and to assist in direction of all functions and activities of TSB Metal Recycling LLC (TSBMR).
Responsibilities:
- Leads monthly s sourcing process for company.
- Develops sourcing strategy for s.
- Negotiates annual contracts as well as procures s.
- Leads S Supplier inquiries.
- Performs analysis on s.
- Develops and implements savings ideas for s.
- Manages trials for different s materials.
- Develops short and longterm s pricing forecast.
- Manages s consignment materials.
- Identifies new s suppliers and work to enhance existing supplier relationships.
- Work to create purchase orders to meet the monthly s sourcing needs.
- Manage inventory levels to align with production levels.
- Address all supplier inquires on purchase orders payments and deliveries.
- Provide analysis as requested by Senior Management.
- Provide the business and suppliers with as accurate forecasting of material needed and pricing.
- Develop and institute trial of potential S Materials with operations.
- Work with operations to report consignment information in a timely manner.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Teams
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with s management systems
- Knowledge of key procurement best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 17years of experience ins purchasing and developing sourcing strategy for s.
- Associate of Business or Supply Chain with at least 14years of experience ins purchasing and developing sourcing strategy for s.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Business or Supply Chain with at least 12years of experience ins purchasing and developing sourcing strategy for s.
- Masters of Business or Supply Chain with at least 10years of experience ins purchasing and developing sourcing strategy for s.
