RT Level II Technician for TAR Work

TEMPORARY PROJECT: 23 months beginning in late March

LOCATION: Washington State

Intertek a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the worlds toprecognized brands and companies is actively seeking a RT Level II Technicianto join our Asset Integrity Management team for a 23 month project based in Washington State.

What are we looking for

The RT Level II Technician will support the Industry Services business byperforming assigned inspection activities to ensure that an object material or system complies with applicable codes standardsand specific job requirements. Were looking for an experienced Radiographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus. Must be willing to travel.

Shift/Schedule:this is a shortterm projectbased position working 10hour shifts 6 days per week for a period of approximately 23 months beginning on or around March 21 2025. Certification testing will take place in the weeks prior to travel to the site in Washington at our Houma LA office which will be fully paid at a training rate.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $38.00$45.00 upon project commencement at the client facility and will also be eligible for a per diem. Round trip air transportation will be provided. The base wage during the training/certification phase prior to travel will be $18.00. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience qualifications and other jobrelated reasons

What youll do:

• Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTfi): Applicable to film interpretation of radiographs evaluationof the Radiographic Method and overallevaluation of radiographic film to applicablecodes and standards acceptance criteria.
• Set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluateresults with respect to applicable codes standards and specifications.
• The NDT Level II Technician should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the Methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training andguidance of assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• The NDT Level II shall be able to organize and report the results of any assigned NDT.
• Adopt an Intertek Marketing and Sales attitude in all client vendor employee and outside contacts interactions.
• Actively pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• Must be qualified and certified as an ASNT Level II in Radiographic examination with CR experience
• Minimum of 3 years field experience
• Valid State Card
• Valid drivers license and reliable driving record (required)
• Valid TWIC Card
• Additional NDT certification in various methods preferred
