Job Description
Maintenance Technician Full-Time
Location: based in East Mississauga Travel required to Scarborough Vaughan Barrie and Mississauga
Hours: 37.5 hours/week Salary: $28$30/hour based on experience

Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and self-reliant Maintenance Technician to support our operations across key client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for general maintenance tasks minor repairs installations coordination of specialized work and seasonal duties. This position involves regular travel to client locations and requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install various fixtures including posters bulletin boards TV brackets and other wall-mounted items.
- Assemble repair and relocate office furniture as needed.
- Perform general repairs such as drywall work wall patching painting and ceiling tile replacement.
- Adjust or replace door locks to ensure proper functionality and site security.
- Liaise with specialized trades and assist with project coordination and inspection scheduling.
- Carry out seasonal tasks including winterizing exterior pipes setting up temporary weather protection and starting heating systems.
- Conduct regular inventory checks for on-site equipment such as pallet jacks rolling bins and bakers racks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
- Proficient with basic tools and general repair techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to manage time and responsibilities independently across multiple sites.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Technical training or certification in a related field is considered an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $28$30/hour based on experience.
- 2 to 3 weeks of paid vacation depending on experience.
- 3 employer-paid sick days annually.
