The role:
As our nextCommercial Finance BP you will play a critical role in partnering with business leaders in our Media practice and overseeing forecasting and monthend processes for this business unit.
Given the complexity of the Media practise we are looking for someone with experience working in media agency previously this is imperative to ensure success in this role.
Core responsibilities:
- Assist with the practice level forecasting process ensuring accurate and timely financial projections
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyse variances between actual results and forecasts providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders providing financial insights and recommendations
- Oversee the management of business unit costs ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic goals
- Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and challenges
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and modelling
A bit about you:
- Experience in a BP role in Media Agency with strong working knowledge of the media industry.
- Demonstrated high commercial acumen to support business leaders on strategic initiatives
- Ability to support the FP&A function on planning reporting and analysis
- Eager to support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and modelling and recommendations
- Excellent commercial nous and enjoy corporate culture
- Experience with reviewing business practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Enjoy implementing changes and improvements in reporting and planning practices in line with Finance roadmap.
