Key Responsibilities:
Manage all inventory ordering and the procurement of spare parts across all GMP Vertex Sites.
Properly check purchase and maintain spare parts inventory in stockrooms.
Manage all Spare Parts KPIs and report on a weekly basis.
Manage all critical documentation (MOCs Certificate of Quality)
Report regularly on standard inventory control metrics including inventory ordering and usage trend reporting.
Develop/Maintain multisite trackers for open orders spare parts spent and reorder reports to monitor outstanding orders and manage supplier relationships.
Timely data entry in the validated CMMS for received and issued parts and inventory.
Daily Manufacturing/GMP Lab Consumable Receipt and Stock
Periodically execute cycle counts and update stockroom parts inventory. Report out on inventory turnover.
Identify and correct any discrepancies in CMMS such as item number parts description quantity etc; based on SOPs and GxP best practices.
Communicate effectively with Facility Operations End Users Engineering Quality and EH&S as required to ensure parts availability to minimize impact to business.
Maintain compliance with company policy and procedure as well as departmental forms SOPs and Work Instructions.
Assist in the identification of alternative sources for equivalent parts and supplies to improve cost efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Any other projectsupport inventory tasks and initiatives as directed by the Reliability Engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
24 years minimum of inventory management experience
35 years of relevant work experience in the GMP Pharmaceutical Industry or relevant comparable background.
Proven ability to manage inventory of complicated and intricate parts assemblies and supplies in a regulated GMP environment.
Strong computer skills and experience developing and managing KPIs/Metrics.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others.
Be able to exercise independent judgement to optimize processes for better results.
Selfmotivated with strong customer service skills and capable to learn and apply new skills after training
