Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Mainframe Quality assurance
We are looking for a skilled Mainframe QA Engineer with expertise in Mainframe test automation JCL DB2 and previous experience in the financial domain. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mainframe applications.
Responsibilities
Utilize Mainframe test automation tools to automate test processes enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with the development team to understand application requirements and design effective test scenarios.
Perform endtoend testing of mainframe applications including batch processing using JCL and DB2.
Identify report and track defects working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Conduct performance testing to validate the applications performance under different workloads.
Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure highquality deliverables.
Work closely with cross functional teams to deliver reliable and robust mainframe solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest mainframe testing tools and best practices.
Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for mainframe applications ensuring comprehensive test coverage
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications we seek in you!
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in Mainframe test automation experience with JCL DB2 Financial Domain experience.
Previous experience working in the financial domain is highly desirable.
Familiarity with batch processing and data management in mainframe environments.
Preferred qualifications
Banking / Capital Markets domain experience.
Good Communication and leadership skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. ISTQB Java certifications) are a plus.
