The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First Line Supply Chain Management Manager (Level K) to join our Fabrication South Carolina Aerospace FSCA) team in Orangeburg South Carolina.
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven First Line Supply Chain Management Manager to lead our team in optimizing supply chain operations. In this pivotal role you will manage a team of skilled production coordinators responsible for all warehouse activities. You will play a key role in developing and executing project and process plans implementing effective policies and procedures and setting operational goals that align with our strategic objectives. Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees analyzing supply chain material requirements developing and optimizing inventory control.
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
Manages hires develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3years of experience with supply chain management or materials management
3years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years of experience working with the ERPLN application
5 years of experience working in a role that required strong interpersonal and communicating skills
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
