Job Description
What We Are Looking For
The Associate Director of Student Activities and Robert Reid Director of the Baylor Chamber of Commerce will serve as the primary advisor to the Baylor Chamber of Commerce providing guidance and oversight for universitywide spirit and tradition initiatives.
A Masters degree and five years of relevant work experience are required. A Masters degree and seven years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary advisor to the Baylor Chamber of Commerce overseeing significant programs such as the Baylor Line Homecoming Family Weekend Diadeloso and the Live Mascot Program
- Act as a liaison with Student Life and other stakeholders providing strategic leadership
- Coordinate staff meetings manage leadership and community engagement programs and encourage professional development
- Analyze reports prepares budgets and supervise Baylor student functions and special events
- Facilitate leadership development programs and ensures organizational effectiveness
- Exhibit an appreciation of a sensitivity to and respect for a diverse academic environment inclusive of students faculty and staff of many social economic cultural ideological racial and ethnic backgrounds
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
