  • Ongoing fulltime opportunity
  • Office Location: Newcastle or Parramatta other locations considered
  • Salary ranges from $145378 $168130 super

The role

Join a collegiate and dedicated team in this critical leadership role.

This role:

  • Leads and manages a team in the delivery of key operational programs and projects through problem identification evidence collation governance project management options analysis consultation identification of success measures and evaluation strategies and strategic planning to develop costeffective targeted evidencebased reform programs for the use and management of Crown land particularly Crown reserves.
  • Advocates for and manages the continuous improvement of developing tools and resources and training for our land managers and the Department
  • Creates and fosters strategic partnerships with Crown land managers and other key stakeholders so that they work collaboratively with the Department towards the reform directions in Crown land 2031

What you will bring to the role

  • Proven leadership qualities including the ability to focus on building team culture productivity and collaboration.
  • Extensive experience in policy development and program implementation.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship management experience.
  • Experience in implementing business and operational continuous improvements.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities to navigate complex challenges risks and adapt to evolving situations.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in project management.
  • Current Drivers licence with the ability and willingness to travel.
