Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze vessel operational efficiency and prepare comprehensive reports on findings and performance outcomes related to hull performance in accordance with ISO 19030 key performance indicators.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of vessel performance and hull efficiency services and tools in collaboration with digital teams.
- Analyze performance data for specific vessels using various internal and external tools. Interpret data and provide expert advice.
- Identify and recommend strategies for continuous performance enhancement of the hull efficiency reporting services and tools.
- Support technical sales teams through analysis of vessel trade and performance KPIs.
- Provide guidance on market trends regulatory developments and technological advancements in the performance monitoring area.
- Responsible for providing hull performance training and support to the global marine organization.
Key Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Applied Mathematics Statistics or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the maritime industry
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 19030 standards and hull performance metrics.
- Proficiency in data cleaning processing and analysis.
- Experience with highfrequency data and time series analysis.
- Familiarity with programming big data and data analysis libraries is desirable.
- Hydrodynamics understanding is desirable
