The Opportunity
As the Global Performance Management Lead at Hitachi Energy you will support the successful implementation of the corporate Performance Management Strategy across all regions and business units. You will own and continuously improve the performance management cycle from goal setting to reviews and feedback ensuring alignment with corporate expectations. In partnership with Hitachi Corporate you will also contribute to broader talent initiatives such as the HE Talent Review. This role is critical to embedding a culture of high performance and growth across the organization.
How you will make an impact
Support the rollout and alignment of the Hitachi Corporate Performance Management Process across all business units and regions.
Oversee the full performance management cycle including objective setting performance reviews feedback and calibration.
Lead the annual performance management process ensuring clear communication stakeholder engagement and seamless execution across all phases.
Develop and manage an engagement and communication plan to drive adoption and effectiveness of the process.
Regularly review the effectiveness of current tools and processes identifying improvement opportunities and providing recommendations to Hitachi Corporate.
Collaborate with global and regional HR teams to capture user feedback and propose enhancements for future cycles.
Create periodic performance management reports and dashboards providing insights into employee performance trends goal completion and manager participation.
Leverage performance data to support broader talent planning including succession and development efforts.
Partner with Hitachi Corporate HR to align on expectations tools and process enhancements and contribute to the HE Talent Review process and related initiatives ensuring performance data informs strategic talent discussions.
Your background
Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration Organizational Development or related field.
710 years of experience in HR with a strong focus on performance management and talent processes in a global organization.
Experience managing performance processes and systems across multiple geographies.
Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports using HRIS platforms (e.g. SuccessFactors Workday).
Proven ability to collaborate with corporate functions and influence across a matrixed organization.
Excellent communication project management and change enablement capabilities.
