Our client a leader in customengineered solutions is seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Business Development Manager to join their team. This senior position reports directly to the Sales Director and is responsible for driving new business revenue acquiring and expanding client accounts and contributing to the organizations overall growth in the mining and bulk material handling industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales and business development plan to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
- Present tailored engineering solutions that enhance productivity improve efficiency and reduce costs for customers.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline ensuring consistent tracking forecasting and achievement of sales targets.
- Lead highvalue negotiations and deal structuring optimizing partnerships and closing significant business deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales engineering and project management) to ensure seamless of client solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is essential (Technical and Business preferred).
- Minimum 10 years experience in business development sales or a related role within mining bulk material handling or industrial engineering.
- Strong technical sales acumen.
- Proficiency in business technology IT systems and CRM tools.
- Excellent computer literacy with experience in data management and reporting.
- A valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
- A valid passport for international business travel as required.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
