Position Overview: Assets and Facilities Coordinator
We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Assets and Facilities Coordinator to manage the flow of materials and products in our facility. This position is responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving operations maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics inventory control and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
o Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment.
o Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
o Follow safety protocols and company policies to minimize accidents and ensure compliance.
o Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse layout for efficiency.
Shipping & Receiving:
o Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
o Ensure all received items are correctly labeled logged and stored in designated locations.
o Prepare package and coordinate outgoing shipments ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch.
o Communicate with vendors carriers and internal teams regarding shipments delays or discrepancies.
o Maintain organized and efficient shipping and receiving areas.
Inventory Management:
o Track and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or overstocking.
o Perform regular inventory audits cycle counts and reconciliation to maintain data integrity.
o Input and update inventory records in the system including part numbers descriptions and quantities.
o Identify and report discrepancies damaged goods or loss of inventory.
o Coordinate with procurement and production teams to manage stock levels based on demand.
