Description

JOB SUMMARY: This is an RN Post Graduate Training Program. The RN assumes the role of student in training for the Operating Room through classroom and clinical training.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

LICENSURE CERTIFICATION and/or REGISTRATION: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of North Carolina required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Prepares for classroom and clinical work prior to scheduling meetings. 2. Completes exams on scheduled days. 3. Maintains clinical records of cases. 4. Maintains positive attitude in clinical rotations. 5. Provides agedevelopmental appropriate care in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Guidelines for the age groups served when participating in patient care.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Strong time management and multitasking skills with ability to prioritize tasks/goals in a timely manner Excellent oral and written communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Subject to many interruptions varying and unpredictable situations Subject to long irregular hours Possible exposure to infections and contagious diseases
