Job Description
Title:
Senior Operations Research Analyst/Predictive ModelerKBR is seeking an Operations Research Analyst for missionlevel combat modeling to join our team at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs CO. An active Top Secret clearance is required.
Qualified candidates should be adept at effectively organizing and executing analytic studies within a team of analysts containing skills spanning a range of disciplines. Experience and familiarity with the space domain and missionlevel models/tools like System Effectiveness Analysis Simulation (SEAS) or Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) is desired.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing studies and analyses specifically a strong background in missionlevel modeling and simulation the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility feasibility joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under study
- Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
- The Analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff
Required Skills and Experience:
- Masters degree in operations research or a theoretical science field
- An activeTop Secret with SCI security clearance
- 10 years of directly applicable experience
- Experience conducting modeling & simulation analyses
- Willingness to learn and employcampaignleveland/or defense enterpriselevelmodels
- High motivation creativity and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- PhD in operations research or a theoretical science field
- Experience withmore highly aggregated campaignlevel and/or defense enterpriselevel analysis tools
- Experience in DoD space and joint force programs
- Experience with AFSIM SEAS STORM or other related models
- Experience with Java MATLAB R SAS JMP and/or Python
- Experience with data transformations and data visualization
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and MySQL or other relational databases
- Experience with BI Tools
- Experience with Excel VBA
Work Environment:

- Working Hours: Standard first shift 40 hours a week
Basic Compensation:
$140165K
This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus relocation benefits shortterm incentives longterm incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
