As a Senior Research Scientist you will work with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - 7 years of quantitative field research experience
- PhD or Masters degree and 5 years of quantitative field research experience
- Experience communicating qualitative research methods and findings to non-qualitative researchers
- Graduate degree (Ph.D.) degree within the life sciences (e.g. Biochemistry Genetics Molecular Biology and Microbiology).
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams at the interface of life science and computer science.
- Expertise with cutting edge molecular biology and/or biochemistry methods and concepts.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies that are commonly used in modern laboratory data analysis.
- Work with a team of researchers to extend and interpret advanced analytical methodologies.
- Ability to work successfully within an entrepreneurial environment.
- Facilitate interactions with collaborators both internal and external to develop efficiencies for cutting edge analytical methods.
- Broad familiarity with different areas of the life sciences.
- Ability to establish and manage external partnerships with key technology partners and collaborators.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
