Job Description
The Role
As a Senior Product Manager Credit you will own the endtoend development of our lending products shaping the roadmap to align with Steps broader business goals. Youll use datadriven insights to define priorities work crossfunctionally to execute product strategies and collaborate with external lending partners. Over time you will build and lead a team of product managers each specializing in different areas of credit.
What Youll Do
- Define & Drive Strategy Partner with leadership to refine Steps credit product vision and strategy ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Prioritize with Data Leverage analytics user insights and industry trends to identify highimpact features optimizations and experiments.
- Execute with Excellence Work crossfunctionally with design engineering data science legal compliance and external lending partners to build launch and scale products.
- Optimize & Iterate Monitor key product metrics measure impact and iterate based on learnings to continuously enhance the customer experience.
- Lead & Grow a Team Recruit mentor and develop a team of product managers as our credit product suite expands.
What You Bring
- 8 years of product management experience preferably in consumer fintech or credit products.
- A track record of scaling consumer credit products from ideation to launch and growth.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using BigQuery Looker Segment Mixpanel or similar analytics tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Deep customer empathy and a passion for building products that deliver real value.
- A proactive outcomeoriented mindset with a bias for action.
- Bonus: Background in software engineering or technical product management.
