Job Description
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a global industrial company based in Switzerland. Reporting directly to the General Counsel the Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts while delivering strategic legal guidance to support business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with the legal team and key business units. Fluency in English is essential with proficiency in German highly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft review and negotiate a wide range of contracts including distribution agreements client contracts and nondisclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws regulations and industry standards
- Provide expert legal advice on contractrelated matters proactively identifying potential legal risks and implementing effective strategies to address and resolve issues
- Collaborate with the compliance team to support and advance corporate compliance initiatives
- Masters degree in Law with a preference for candidates who have passed the bar exam
- Proven expertise in commercial contracting ideally within the industrial sector gained through experience as inhouse counsel or at a reputable law firm
- Business acumen with a demonstrated ability to navigate and contribute effectively within a global organization
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required with proficiency in German highly preferred
