As a Senior Commercial Analyst within QantasLink Engineering youll play a key role in supporting the growth and commercial success of our regional engineering operations. This is a highly analytical and moderately technical role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving commercial outcomes.
Your new role:
- Support the design negotiation and implementation of engineering contracts including SLAs and KPIs.
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead financial and performance analysis to support contract renegotiations and business improvement initiatives.
- Manage aspects of the RFP process including documentation stakeholder engagement and supplier evaluation.
- Provide competitor analysis and insights to inform strategic planning.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of business cases for ongoing initiatives and ad hoc projects.
- Ensure compliance with Qantas Group safety and governance policies acting as a safety leader within the team.
What youll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Business Engineering or Finance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial audiences.
- Experience in procurement or a business background is advantageous.
- Aviation airline or aerospace industry experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to evaluate strategic alternatives and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- A proactive independent and collaborative approach to work with a commitment to continuous improvement.
