Your Opportunity:

Joining our team you will work closely with the Direct Procurement Lead contributing to the management and optimization of procurement activities. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop efficient strategies ensuring operational continuity through supplier contract and stock management.

How you will contribute:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including production quality and logistics to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business goals.
  • Assist in managing stock levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities contracts and supplier performance.
  • Help negotiate contracts terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance cost savings and supplier metrics.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for direct materials and services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and help develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers and assist in conducting supplier audits.
  • Monitor market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvements.

Who you are:

  • Bachelors degree in Economics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (internships or contingent work considered).
  • Basic negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus but not mandatory
  • Interest in digital technologies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken
