Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credentialing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of hands-on experience in provider credentialing for both commercial and federal payers across multiple specialties.
Tasks
- Manage initial credentialing for healthcare providers.
- Prepare and submit applications to commercial and government payers.
- Maintain and update CAQH PECOS NPPES and other payer portals.
- Track application statuses expirations and re-credentialing timelines.
- Communicate with insurance companies and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records and protect sensitive provider information
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in credentialing
- Familiarity with credentialing platforms (CAQH PECOS Availity etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
