ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting new opportunity with a growing real estate development company looking to hire fulltime IT Help Desk Specialist. This position reports to the on-property IT Manager and works with them along with the parent company s IT team.
This position is entirely on-site local applicants only schedule includes working weekends Saturday and/or Sunday.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Be a hands on technologist that will provide technical support to both our internal team and our guests for various issues
Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite of applications
Handling Active Directory account provisioning and setting up group permissions
Building and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software
Running and terminating infrastructure cabling between workstations and communication closets
Responding to user calls and emails to troubleshoot reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve the issue
Assist users with Operating System issues desktop software and network/local printer issues
Collaborate with the IT Manager to troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc incidents with hardware software when needed
Administer email team collaboration platform and anti-virus systems
Setup of peripherals and components when necessary
Help set up audio/visual components for in-house and guest events.
Assist with troubleshooting Property Management Software (PMS) and Point of Sales (POS) software
Assist with troubleshooting an on-premises VoIP solution
Keep track of IT supplies and equipment
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
Bachelor s Degree with 1-2 years experience
A flexible can-do attitude with customer orientation and strong dependability
Reliable punctual well-organized self-motivator who works well alone and with others
Experience with Windows 10 computers.
Understanding of networking concepts: DHCP DNS LAN/WAN TCP/IP VoIP PoE etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Customer-oriented and cool-temperament
Able to work in a mixed hospitality/office environment
