Company One of our client who are the leading architectural and engineering consulting firm. They are seeking a Manager IT Operations for their Information Technology Department. This position will be based in Kuwait. Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintaining high levels of IT infrastructure systems uptime and availability ensuring that critical
business systems and the IT infrastructure are functioning properly and meeting the needs of the organization.
Ensuring the daily IT operations are efficient and costeffective and that resources are being used effectively to support business objectives.
Maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to IT operations and Data Security.
Ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery plans and minimizing downtime and data loss
Managing the backup process to ensure critical data is regularly backed up and can be quickly recovered in case of a failure.
Overseeing the help desk function to provide end users with the necessary technology resources to perform their jobs effectively.
Managing service level agreements and ensuring that support requests are handled in a timely and effective manner.
Carry out the procurement activities for hardware software and other technology resources within the allocated budget ensuring all purchases align with the organizations technology strategy and meet enduser needs negotiating contracts and ensuring technology resources are delivered and implemented effectively.
Providing guidance and leadership to the IT team fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. And ensuring that the IT operation team is working closely with end users to identify and address issues provide training and support.
Qualification & Requirements:
Have a strong technical background with Microsoft 365 Platform including Azure Exchange SharePoint OneDrive and Office.
Windows Operating Systems SQL Server and Active Directory
Powershell scripting.
VmWare Azure and AWS Server Virtualization
Project management
Having excellent communication skills both verbal and written to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization including senior management.
Ability to handle changing priorities deal with ambiguity and use good judgment in stressful situations.
