Are you a skilled maintenance professional with leadership experience Do you thrive in a fastpaced environment and enjoy mentoring a team Were on the lookout for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Arndell Park facility.
About the role
In this role you will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of plant equipment during the afternoon shift. Leading a team of skilled maintenance staff you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring all machinery operates at peak efficiency. With a strong focus on safety and effectiveness you will guide and support your team to deliver highquality maintenance outcomes while fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to safety standards.
Your new role will include:
- Overseeing the maintenance program encompassing preventive maintenance corrective works and prompt responses to breakdowns
- Ensuring timely and efficient resolution of work requests to minimise downtime
- Analysing recurring maintenance issues identifying trends and reporting insights to the Maintenance Manager
- Responding to callouts and assisting with breakdowns to maintain uninterrupted daily production operations
- Supervising contractors in alignment with our contractor management plan and ensuring compliance with standards
- Reviewing current work practices to identify and implement areas for improvement
- Preparing comprehensive Daily Shift Reports to ensure transparency and accountability
- Leading initiatives in continuous improvement and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to enhance operational reliability
- Driving and actively participating in 5S

About you
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same. You are an excellent communicator and possess strong decisionmaking skills. Your ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes will see you thrive in this fastpaced role!
To be successful in the role you will bring:
- Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical maintenance
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a maintenance team
- Experience utilising a computerised Maintenance Management System ideally SAP
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to think quickly clearly and logically whilst meeting deadlines
- Contractor Management Experience
- Availability for Weekends and be on Call for After Hrs Callouts
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Previous experience within an FMCG production environment is desirable but not essential
