Job Summary
The Temporary Camp Worker (Teacher Aide) will provide assistance as they are required to serve as a Teacher Aide for Dustys Junior University Summer Youth Program. They are responsible to assist the classroom teacher assist participants with activities and create a safe and positive learning environment.Assist in the C.E. Summer Youth Program classroom as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the supervision of the participants of Dustys Junior University Summer Program.
Will welcome participants to class assist the instructor take participants to and from the restrooms lunch classrooms and pickup and departure sites.
Perform other duties as assigned by the instructor and/or Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Education High school diploma or post secondary education.
Experience Must have experience working and leading children/youth.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
May NOT be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.

Ability to:
Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

This is a temporary position subject to funding and/or need.
Position requires on campus facetoface interactions.
Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
Promptly complete all required training.
Pay rate: $10.50/hour
