Project Coordinator ICI Construction Short Term Contract
Location:Niagara Area
Salary:$30$40/ hour
Type:Shorttime Contract (with possibility of extension)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organizedProject Coordinatorto join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless of institutional commercial and industrial (ICI) construction projects. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment and are passionate about contributing to the success of largescale construction projects this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate documentation for RFIs submittals and change orders.
- Manage communication between clients consultants subcontractors and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
- Conduct site visits to verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in project coordination within the ICI construction sector.
- Postsecondary education in construction management engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore Primavera or MS Project.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and construction best practices.
