The role of the Lead Nursing Faculty Certification & Licensure Coordinator will provide leadership and support for all aspects of the program related to preparing students for the Certification Exam in their specialty to maximize first time pass rates. This includes planning and delivering development to the faculty team to make certification preparation holistic in the classroom experience as well as preparing students throughout their lifespan. The role includes regular collaboration with system and campus leadership. The teaching assignment will include a preparation course in addition to other courses as appropriate.
This position is onsite at the Brookfield WI campus.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in nursing doctorate preferred
- Currently hold an active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin
- Has knowledge of learning principles for adult education including nursing curriculum development administration and evaluation and current knowledge of nursing practice
- Either 2 years experience as an instructor in a nursing education program within the last 5 years OR 1 year experience as an instructor in a nursing education program within the last 5 years with a graduate degree which included education preparation.
