Job Description
Acumen is seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to the Chief Development and Partnerships Officer to join our New York office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proactive selfmotivated candidate with minimum of 2 years of professional experience superior attention to detail a natural ability to multitask and a commitment to tackling poverty. This role is in NYC and Acumen is working in office 3 days a week.

Scheduling and Meeting Preparation:
- Arrange and ensure seamless run of CDPOs daily schedule juggling multiple simultaneous requests across multiple time zones
- Prepare and socialize all essential logistics for the CDPOs meetings
- Support on research and preparation for external meetings including liaising with other teams to create meeting briefings and submitting meeting notes to online database
- Coordinate team member schedules to ensure monthly team meetings weekly checkins and other recurring internal meetings
- Schedule and proactively plan recurring internal communications touch points including Development & Partnerships Team Calls time with teams across our geographies weekly one on meetings and preparation for these when needed.
Travel and Logistics:
- Work with overseas team members to ensure onground logistics are arranged and communicated; oversee all details for entire travel process from planning to ontheground to debriefs
- Provide clear comprehensive travel packs including detailed travel itinerary logistical confirmations diplomatic and/or medical clearance meeting and investment context etc.
- Forecast and obtain appropriate medical documentation passport pages and travel visas in advance of international trips as necessary
- Maintain accurate details for meetings in advance of travel add to necessary calendars
- Understand travel preferences when booking flights hotels etc. and check to make sure these preferences are followed when possible or communicated in advance when not possible
Administration:
- Prepare and track expense reports in timely manner following travel; review and advise on expense reports for CDPOs direct reports following Travel & Expense Policy
- Maintain presence at desk in order to efficiently and expediently respond to needs of CDPO
- Enter and maintain contacts outreach and relationship tracking details in Salesforce in timely manner; support data maintenance and creation of constituent and donor segmentation lists for appeals special events progress reports and mailing lists for events
- Obtain necessary information and signatures for documents relating to CDPO and track to ensure proper processing and delivery
- Head various projects as assigned including research writing designing collateral/presentations supporting other members of Development & Partnerships team etc.
Project Management:
- Project managing as needed on operative initiatives then sharing of results with key stakeholders
- Work alongside the Office of the CEO on key strategic initiatives
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional environment
- Strong project management skills: demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for of diverse number of projects in timely manner with limited supervision
- Proactive demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and identify gaps before they arise and jump in without being asked
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across geographies functions and levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Selfreflective and aligned with Acumen values
- Complete discretion with sensitive information both within the company and externally
- Proven mastery of tech apps including Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Gmail and Zoom
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States

This role is eligible for overtime and the salary range is $60000 to $64000 USD plus a performancebased bonus. This range represents the present low and high end of pay range for our Associate band. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience. Acumen has equal pay so pay is determined through comparison to a cohort of employees in the market at the same level of accountability.
