Size and functions of local team: No local team 2 BDRs and 1 AE being hired) EMEA Sales Director (CHbased) 17 open positions in total in EMEA

Role description: As SDR you are part of the first team for Germany building out the region. This role will be a combination of outbound pipelinegeneration & inbound lead qualification. You will use a modern tech stack (Salesforce Cloudtalk Apollo SalesNavigator) to assessICP accounts identify stakeholders and book meetings to generate pipeline. Germany is a focus area with tons of growth opportunity for the company and you can make a big impact in its growth!

  • Target / KPI:Target is 18 SQLs/month
  • Team attainment: 90
  • Deal size/cycle: 1020K ARR with 4560 day cycles
  • PG & support:70 outbound / 30 inbound

Unique about the company(that you dont read online):

  • The German government pushed a new legislationthats driving tons of inbound leads to the company they need to comply and need a solution like Silktide for this
    • e.g. VolkswagenGroup and Casio came inbound in Germany and recently were closed enterprise accounts
  • Company grew to 5M ARR with mainly inbound Leadership strategy & process are now in place to scale at 100 YoY growth; the outbound machine has now been built and runs successfully across EMEA
  • Silktide is beating the competition. Their 2 main competitors got acquired having made their competing solution more of an addon with much fewer capabilities. having made their competing solution more of an addon with much fewer capabilities. These companies had layoffs and lowquality support. The current Sales Leader comes from one of these competitors and knows exactly all their weaknesses and how to win from them.

  • You are part of the first sales team in Germany which allows for great growth opportunity!
  • At Silktide you have quarterly targets. When you achieve 2 quarterly targets in a row you get promoted to your next level!
    • Theres levels in SDR 123 and AE 123 then Ent. AE 123. Theres a strong internal focus on growth and development.
  • Your salary increases per step!

Must haves

  1. 6 months of SDR experience in b2b SaaS working with Enterprise account

(Need someone whos not green (they dont have time for that this person is alone in Berlin need a mature person whos self sufficient)

  1. True enterprise experience: knows stakeholder management and level of sophisticated outreach)

  2. Level of maturity and selfsufficiency. This is the first hire in Germany without an onsite manager. Silktide looks for selfstarterswho can take ownership without a needing a manager that looks over their shoulder every day. Christian will visit biweekly in the beginning to make sure everything runs smoothhly

Nice to haves:

  1. Domain experience and expertise
  2. 1 year experience as SDR SaaS experience

Hiring Process

Salary range & secondary benefits:up to 70 85K OTE 60/40 split)

The 85K OTE salary is set on SDR level 2 with 1 year experience (level 3 is higher but needs more experience)

  • How do we sync: Slack Phone calls or emails. If we need to adjust things we can jump on a call.
