As the Quality & Risk Manager you will lead Builts continuous improvement in quality and risk management across the WA business unit. This role ensures alignment with organisational goals compliance with regulatory requirements and delivery of value to the business stakeholders through best practices in these key areas.
Heres what a typical day might look like for you:
- Quality Assurance
Oversee quality management processes across projects ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
Identify risks and areas for improvement in quality management
Support teams in developing quality plans
Lead proactive risk identification mitigation and communication across the project lifecycle.
Establish risk controls during tendering design and delivery
Lead after care and defects on completed projects including management of associated budgets and costs
- Technical Assurance
Provide technical oversight to ensure project designs meet Builts standards for quality performance and buildability
Review design documentation for compliance with statutory requirements and project specific conditions - Implement sustainability initiatives to meet Builts environmental and social responsibility goals and ensure project teams integrate sustainability considerations into design and delivery

Your strong background in risk management coupled with your ability to design and implement systems and processes in a construction environment will hold you in good stead for the success of this role.
