The role
As an Ecology Field Officer youll be at the forefront of habitat management and ecological monitoring at Sydney Olympic Park. Your role involves conducting field inspections collecting environmental data and managing conservation programs to ensure biodiversity and regulatory compliance. Youll also oversee water quality in frog breeding ponds and manage control efforts.
Working outdoors with minimal supervision youllbe exposed to diverse weather conditions and terrain. Balancing ecological management with the needs of various stakeholders youll coordinate with staff volunteers and contractors to protect and enhance the parks ecosystems
