About Terrapin Beer Co.
Terrapin Beer Company founded in 2002 in Athens Georgia is known for its innovative and flavorful craft beers. The brewery was named after the Grateful Dead album Terrapin Station and has grown to be a beloved staple in the community.
The seasonal position will be available from April to September. The hours for this position are from 2pm 10pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures including the safe operation of equipment.
- As directed maintain a safe clean work environment that includes general housekeeping and warehouse duties.
- Demonstrated ability to identify all Emergency Stops on all equipment within work areas.
- Assist Machine Operators in feeding repack materials into appropriate machinery.
- Monitor finished goods for mislabeling and possible mixing of products.
- As directed move finished products and materials from the Packaging Department and Production work areas utilizing hand trucks pallets jacks and powered industrial trucks.
- Perform loading and unloading of bottling and canning raw materials and finished goods from applicable conveyor belts.
- As directed stack finished goods onto pallets in a predefined stacking pattern in designated areas.
- Strap pallets of finished goods and of raw materials in accordance with company safety standards.
- As directed hand label bottles and packaged goods with appropriate date stamps.
- As directed utilize various chemicals to clean machinery in department in adherence with safety standards and company standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Safety & Security the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
- Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would have prior work experience in either manufacturing warehousing or distribution. (Or) prior work experience in a fastpaced processoriented work setting. Completion of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- Applicants without accommodation must be able to frequently reach twist stoop bend crouch stand and walk for 8hour shifts. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. repeatedly and maneuver up to 175lb kegs.
- Applicants must wear personal protective equipment and work in varying weather conditions including humidity and seasonal temperature changes.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a comprehensive background check in line with Company policy.
