Summary

The Material Handlerplays a critical role in preparing packaging and coordinating the shipment of finished electronic assemblies. This position ensures accurate documentation clear communication with internal teams and proper handling of products to meet both customer and internal delivery expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare package and label completed products (PCB and box-build assemblies) for shipment using appropriate materials (e.g. bubble wrap foam)
  • Perform data entry for serial number tracking and shipping documentation in ERP or shipping systems
  • Communicate shipment details and priorities clearly via email with production leads supervisors and logistics contacts
  • Coordinate shipments to customers and internal CFCs ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Track inventory of shipping supplies and notify appropriate personnel when restocking is needed
  • Ensure compliance with customer packaging requirements and internal quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean activities
  • Follow all quality safety and housekeeping procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (equivalent experience may be considered if language and math skills are demonstrated)
  • 1 year of experience in shipping receiving logistics or administrative support preferred
  • Ability to read and understand internal documentation in English
  • Strong written communication skills especially via email
  • Basic math skills: addition subtraction multiplication division
  • Ability to interpret performance graphs and assess product quality from written instructions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude strong teamwork skills and willingness to work overtime as needed

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles or caustic chemicals.
