Key position functions include:
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of effective human resource strategies policies and services with the objective of attracting and retaining a qualified and motivated work force to meet the needs of the business
- Plan and deliver a full range of general human resource services
- Develop and implement a wide array of HR programs including policy development employee engagement leadership development compensation and classification and change management
- Recommend workforce planning and organizational development strategies in response to changing business initiatives and economic conditions.
- Implement bestpractice HR program development
- Liaison with key stakeholders on program functionality impact and adoption
- Heavy usage of data to determine program effectiveness and justification for future improvements
- Create and monitor dashboards to evaluate program effectiveness
- External market research on industry trends technologies and legislation changes
- Determine both inhouse and outsourced providers for program delivery
- Contribute to the ongoing development of effective human resources practices
- Effectively lead and deliver a variety of human resource programs related to recruitment retention total compensation employee onboarding training rewards and recognition communication and performance management
- Model a commitment to workplace health and safety
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- University Degree Technical School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 8 years Human Resources experience
- A proven track record of providing effective problem solving and decision making
- Experience with HR program design specifically in the areas of employee engagement learning and development compensation and classification and policy creation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to develop strong rapport and credibility with all management and employee levels.
- Well organized selfmotivated
- Working in an international environment an asset
