As a Product Manager Digital Mergers & Acquisitions and Advisory Vice President in Global Investment Banking Digital (GIBD) you will be an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the endtoend product life cycle. As a core leader you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground you guide the successful launch of products gather crucial feedback and ensure toptier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability resiliency and stability you collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns maintains and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the products key success metrics such as cost feature and functionality risk posture and reliability
- Be an SME of Investment Banking particularly Mergers & Acquisitions and be the primary point of contact for the product for Mergers & Acquisitions stakeholders
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to drive product adoption and satisfaction
- Lead product development projects from concept to launch ensuring detailed user requirement documentation timely delivery and quality standards
- Work with Engineering Design & Data teams to build solutions that meet business needs; ensure adaptability and scalability of solutions across regions
- Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offerings
- Build a deep understanding of advanced analytics and AI capabilities that can be incorporated into product solutions to enhance and accelerate user value
- Writes detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) epics and user stories to support product development
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Previous experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle design and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
- A customercentric mindset and experience building and delivering greenfield products end to end
- Product Manager background in digital platform infrastructure and modernization efforts
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal and act as an effective translator between business and technology
- Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable product solutions
- Strong project management and organizational planning skills to work and stay aligned with crossfunctional teams
- Exceptional communication skills to align crossfunctional teams and stakeholders on strategic priorities
- Proven ability to manage complex multistakeholder technical projects with competing priorities
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed complex organization
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the financial services industry with a focus on Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions
- Strong understanding of the Mergers & Acquisitions process financial markets and industry regulations
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and align technical and business priorities effectively
