Material Supply Planner I
Position Summary
Catalents Greenville N.C. facility specializes in endtoend turnkey solutions for oral solid dosage forms including integrated formulation development analytical services commercial manufacturing and packaging. This stateoftheart facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fitforscale capacity with potent handling capabilities ideal for orphan or targeted drug development.
The Material Supply Planner I is responsible for the forecasting and demand planning of all commercial materials. The Material Supply Planner I will be Subject Matter Expert (SME) for material requirements across all departments and lead the organizational efforts around inventory management and readiness to execute production against the production plan.
Shifts: Regular working hours: Monday Friday; 8:30 AM5:00 PM with a 30minute unpaid lunch.

The Role
Drive material requirement planning and MRP calculations for the site by analyzing demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly
Communicate with relevant departments to ensure forecast materials and process orders are aligned with operational needs
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely order and receipt of direct materials
Coordinate with scheduling procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and minimize stockouts including release and/or retest of raw materials
Create and maintain production process orders for a rolling 3week period incorporating all released materials to facilitate process orders
Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics including inventory levels lead times and final material release with Quality Control to fulfil production schedule
Facilitate component planning meetings inventory management meetings readytoexecute meetings and other necessary site meetings
Perform other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
Masters degree in supply chain discipline or related discipline with a Supply Chain concentration and 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment (or)
Bachelors degree with 2 years of related experience in a planning role in a manufacturing environment (or)
Associate degree with 3 years of related experience in a planning role in a manufacturing environment is required.
Experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment or other similar regulated industry is preferred.
Proficiency in ERP (SAP preferred) in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
