The role: Facilities Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our dynamic team in Sydney on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
In this role you will undertake daytoday premisesrelated tasks as directed and deliver an exceptional experience to our clients and stakeholders. Your commitment to maintaining our office environment to the highest standards will help create a comfortable and inviting workspace for everyone.

Daytoday youll be responsible for:
Assisting the Facilities Coordinator with the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers associated with tenancy maintenance including liaising with building management and all other premisesrelated functions.
The coordination of new starter requirements (eg name plates security cards). Assisting with issuing & programming of security cards (both as part of the new starter process and the visitor process).
Managing the visitor process (including desk allocation and issuing of temporary security passes) in conjunction with the practice groups.
Assisting with ergonomic equipment ordering and set up requirements for staff (eg raising of desks).
Assisting with the movement of furniture associated with maintenance tasks and office moves/floor moves.
General assistance with internal staff moves as required; offices workstations and floor moves.
Assisting with housekeeping duties and maintenance of kitchens facilities.
Repairs and minor maintenance to office equipment and premises as required eg replacement of light bulbs.
Maintaining stock in breakout areas/utility rooms for first aid kits & first aid room as required.
General assistance with stationery requests as required.
Other tasks as directed by the Office Manager/Coordinator.
Complying with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out on the intranet.
To be successful in this position you will have the following experience:
Microsoft Word & Excel 2010 (Basic to Intermediate)
Previous handyman/trade experience desirable
