Job Description

Were hiring full-time W-2 Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support K 12 students in the school setting for the school year. Whether you ve worked in schools pediatric care or another hands-on support role we d love to connect with you. Position Details
- Caseload: 1:1 or small group student support (K 12)
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Hours: 30 40 hours/week
- Dates: August 2025 May 2026
- Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh PA schools
Responsibilities
- Assist students with daily living activities mobility feeding and hygiene needs
- Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day
- Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by school staff or medical team
- Document services and report observations to relevant team members
Promote student safety independence and dignity - Collaborate with educators therapists and nurses as part of a student support team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children or students with special needs preferred
- Ability to follow medical behavioral or personal care protocols
- Dependable patient and compassionate
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must pass background check and school-specific onboarding requirements
