JOB SUMMARY:
The position requires an indepth understanding of the overall tax return process and technical expertise in order to execute and maintain standardized tax processing practices within the TESS COE as well as providing tax support in various areas. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assembly scanning efiling workflow entry reporting and due date tracking. May also perform general administrative duties to support line of business as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Print and assemble tax returns based on pyramid complexity permission level utilizing firm software tools based on Route Sheet instructions in the workflow tool to ensure all required client deliverables are included in documents saved to document management system and for delivery to external clients. Pyramid permission levels for this role are simple to moderate returns and requires an appropriate level of professional judgement and understanding of firm standards.
- Responsible for tax organizers if applicable scanning of client workpapers tax return delivery due date tracking and new client setup etc. and for meeting client expectations for timeliness responsiveness accuracy and service quality.
- Using deep understanding of the overall tax return process takes ownership of the efile process including monitoring and releasing external client tax returns to the taxing authorities ensuring correct returns are released and all filing deadlines are timely met. Track for acceptance transmission errors and rejections and resolve as appropriate.

EXPERIENCE
- 1 to 3 years of related experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Previous tax related experience and knowledge of tax deadlines
- Experience with Axcess Tax Workstream and EFS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong technical aptitude able to quickly master a variety of tax software and company tools
- Role will require specialized training for both tools and process Ability to problem solve in a fastpaced deadline driven environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office Skills

- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the technology tools required within assigned responsibilities
