Your Role
AsSection manager Ventilationyou will play a key role in driving the strategic work within ventilation. You will lead a dynamic and competent group of both junior and experienced engineers responsible for developing a longterm ventilation strategy that supports both current and future mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the sections work within ventilation including ventilation measurements analysis and modeling.
- Drive strategic ventilation planning linked to future mining.
- Ensure coordination and collaboration between different functions to create an overall ventilation strategy.
- Ensure that the sections work is conducted safely sustainably and costeffectively in line with the companys strategic goals.
- Develop the operations and employees in line with LKABs overall guidelines and vision.
As section manager you have overall responsibility for both personnel and operations within your section. You are part of the management team for Mining Technology and report directly to the department manager. Your team consists of approximately 5 employees spread across our various operational locations.
The departments mission is to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to optimize current operations and ensure our future mining operations.

In addition to this you need to have:
- A college or university degree or equivalent education combined with relevant experience is considered equivalent.
- Knowledge of the ventilation field.
- Good knowledge in both Swedish and English spoken and written.
- A drivers license (B) is a requirement for all positions at LKAB.
