About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Inside Sales representative to join our team at Delta Steel: Houston. As a leading steel service center in Houston TX we are looking for a motivated individual to help drive sales and provide excellent customer service to our clients in San Antonio South Texas and West Texas markets.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new customers and accounts
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
- Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure ontime delivery
- Entry and processing of customer orders
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations and outcalls to customers to generate additional inquiries
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Position will be located in our Houston office servicing the San Antonio South Texas and West Texas markets
Requirements:
- Prior experience in inside sales or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
- Knowledge of steel metal or fabrication industry is a plus
