Job Description
Advance your career by developing KS5 Science in our outstanding Redbridge school! TLR opportunity available.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher with a focus on KS5 development (ability to teach at least one science to ALevel) to join our Science department. This role offers the potential to take on leadership responsibilities with a TLR for the right candidate focusing on our ALevel provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality Science lessons across Key Stages 35 specializing in at least one science (Biology Chemistry or Physics) at ALevel.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment especially for advanced learners.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods including practical experiments to enhance ALevel learning.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative ALevel Science curriculum.
- TLR opportunity for a candidate demonstrating leadership potential in KS5.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in a Science discipline (Biology Chemistry or Physics).
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level with a strong emphasis on ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum especially at KS5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential in KS5 delivery (for TLR consideration).
- Ability to teach at least one science (Biology Chemistry or Physics) to ALevel.
