The Role

Our dynamic Canadian Liquid Refreshment Beverages (NonAlcohol) team is seeking a passionate and detailoriented National Account Manager based in Toronto reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Distribution. In this exciting role youll manage strategic partnerships and play a key role in the commercial planning for small format (Convenience & Gas) accounts including popular brands like Ms By Messi Hydration and Ol Mocktails.

Your mission Drive sales to assigned National Accounts achieve revenue and margin goals within budget and execute with excellence. This pivotal role is all about growing sales boosting brand awareness and ensuring our strategies are flawlessly executed.

  • Lead contact for assigned accounts to meet revenue volume and margin goals aligned with annual operating plan
  • Responsible for developing and executing account specific priorities that drive distribution and sales resulting in market share growth
  • Effectively manage forecasts and trade budgets to drive volume and share growth within acceptable trade practices according to brand strategy and merchandising guidelines
  • Build and develop strong customer and distributor relationships understanding their business and goals that lead to effective account management
  • Leverage and analyze sales data to make informed decisions that grow sales and/or improves business outcomes I.E product listings price promotion instore placements inventory positions
  • Collaborate and support the negotiation of customer contracts/agreements
  • Selfsufficiently build and confidently present customer/distributor business reviews
  • Collaborate with cross functional internal resources to maximize company and sales performance I.E marketing finance supply operations compliance customer service
  • Maintain indepth awareness of industry trends competitor activities and market conditions to allow for proactive adjustment and redeployment of strategy
  • Regularly monitor and report pertinent information as it relates to account performance operating conditions risks and opportunities

What youll bring:

  • University degree required
  • 35 years of experience proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth within Retail National Accounts
  • Experience in CStore and Gas is required
  • Strong preference for CPG experience and familiarity with customer webbased portals I.E Retail Link Article Workflow Commerce Hub
  • Bilingual in French is an asset

  • Distributor/DSD experience is an asset

  • Must have a valid Drivers License and access to a vehicle

  • Must be capable of lifting items between 2030lbs

  • Must be available to travel 1520 of time
